Service Description
Course Snapshot Schedule: Monday & Wednesday at 7:00 PM ET Session Length: 1 hour Format: Online, live instruction Course Tuition: $1,000 (approximately $30 per session) Course Term: Fall 2026 Algebra 1 is a structured parallel course designed to run alongside a student's school instruction. Meeting twice each week provides students with consistent, high-quality instruction as they progress through the Algebra 1 curriculum—not simply additional help when challenges arise. Throughout the course, students develop a strong foundation in algebraic reasoning, including equations and inequalities, linear relationships, systems of equations, functions, exponents, polynomials, and quadratic relationships. Instruction emphasizes understanding why mathematical procedures work, recognizing connections between concepts, and developing the problem-solving skills students will need in future mathematics courses. The goal is to provide students with consistent instruction throughout the fall semester, helping them build confidence, strengthen their algebraic foundation, and stay successfully engaged with their school coursework. Students may continue into the Spring Algebra 1 course for instruction through the remainder of the curriculum.
Cancellation Policy
Missed Classes: If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, please notify BrainCell Academy as soon as possible. When an equivalent section of the course is available and has not yet covered the missed lesson, the student may attend that section as a make-up class, subject to availability. If the corresponding lesson has already taken place, the missed class cannot be made up and no refund or credit will be issued. Course Withdrawal: Course tuition reflects a discounted rate based on enrollment for the full semester. Students who withdraw before the end of the course may request cancellation of their remaining enrollment. Any classes that have already taken place will be recalculated at BrainCell Academy's standard Small Group Class rate, and any remaining tuition balance will be refunded. Refunds will not exceed the amount of tuition paid, and students will not be charged an additional balance if the value of attended classes exceeds the tuition originally paid. Classes Canceled by BrainCell Academy: If BrainCell Academy cancels a scheduled class, a make-up class, rescheduled session, or appropriate credit will be provided.
