Service Description
Session Snapshot Session Length: 1 hour Format: Online, live instruction Individual Session: $140 Weekly / 10-Session Package: $120 per session AP Chemistry one-on-one sessions provide personalized support based on each student's individual needs. Sessions may focus on clarifying challenging concepts, strengthening chemical reasoning, preparing for assessments, or addressing specific gaps as they arise. Students can receive support with atomic structure, molecular interactions, chemical reactions, kinetics, thermodynamics, equilibrium, acids and bases, and other concepts throughout the AP Chemistry curriculum. Instruction emphasizes connecting macroscopic observations to particle-level behavior, quantitative reasoning, and applying chemical principles to unfamiliar situations, with targeted AP-style multiple-choice and free-response practice when appropriate. Unlike BrainCell Academy's Small Group Classes and Courses, one-on-one sessions are designed as flexible, supplemental support rather than a predetermined instructional sequence. This allows each session to respond directly to what the student needs most.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. One-on-one sessions may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no additional charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed sessions without notice, may be charged the full session rate or deducted from a 10-session package. Students who purchase a 10-session package may use their sessions as needed throughout the school year, subject to instructor availability. Any unused sessions expire at the end of the school year. If BrainCell Academy needs to cancel or reschedule a session, the family will be contacted and the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
