Service Description
Session Snapshot Session Length: 1 hour Format: Online, live instruction Individual Session: $140 Weekly / 10-Session Package: $120 per session AS Mathematics: Pure Mathematics 1 one-on-one sessions provide personalized support based on each student's individual needs. Sessions may focus on clarifying challenging concepts, strengthening mathematical reasoning, preparing for assessments, or addressing specific gaps as they arise. Students can receive support with quadratics, functions, coordinate geometry, circular measure, trigonometry, series, differentiation, integration, and other concepts within the Pure Mathematics 1 curriculum. Instruction emphasizes mathematical reasoning, algebraic fluency, connections between concepts, and developing clear, efficient solutions, with targeted Cambridge-style exam practice when appropriate. Unlike BrainCell Academy's Small Group Classes and Courses, one-on-one sessions are designed as flexible, supplemental support rather than a predetermined instructional sequence. This allows each session to respond directly to what the student needs most.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. One-on-one sessions may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no additional charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed sessions without notice, may be charged the full session rate or deducted from a 10-session package. Students who purchase a 10-session package may use their sessions as needed throughout the school year, subject to instructor availability. Any unused sessions expire at the end of the school year. If BrainCell Academy needs to cancel or reschedule a session, the family will be contacted and the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
